Voices of Muslims Continues Georgia Expansion with New Fayette County Chapter

Empowering Muslim American communities through dedicated local leadership and grassroots advocacy initiatives

The Muslim American community in Fayette County now has a powerful new voice advocating for their interests and fostering community connections. Voices of Muslims (VoM) proudly announces the establishment of its Fayette County Chapter, marking another significant milestone in the organization’s strategic Chapter Development Initiative launched in May 2025.

Expanding Muslim American Advocacy Across Georgia

The newly launched Fayette County Chapter represents VoM’s continued commitment to grassroots organizing and community-centered advocacy throughout Georgia. This expansion follows the successful establishment of previous chapters, demonstrating the organization’s effective model of local engagement combined with statewide coordination.

“The establishment of our Fayette County Chapter demonstrates the power of local leadership and community commitment,” explains Executive Director Don Mahmood. “This initiative represents our dedication to ensuring that every Muslim American voice in Georgia is heard, valued, and empowered to create positive change in their communities.”

Building Bridges Through Community Engagement

Each VoM chapter serves as a dedicated community hub focused on multiple areas of impact:
